Zeus’ Management Team has significant real estate experience and a proven track record investing across various transaction structures, geographic locations and property types, with its founders and senior management team having executed in excess of €7 billion of real estate deals during the last 30 years. Our  Team members are strategically located in the USA, Poland, Greece, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria and Cyprus and are supported by top-grade consultants, who in turn strengthen Zeus’ local presence in the target regions.

Senior Management Team

Stelios Zavvos – Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Zavvos is the Founder and CEO of Zeus Group with over 30 years of corporate and real estate experience in Europe and the USA. He was the Founder and CEO of Continental American Capital, an investment group which focused on real estate investment and financing in the USA. He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Member of the Investment Committee of Orilina Properties, a real estate investment company (REIC) investing in Greece. He is also a Member of the Board of Directors of publicly listed EuroSite Power Inc (OTCPK: EUSP) and was formerly a Member of the Board of Directors of the NASDAQ listed Star Bulk Carriers Corp, serving on the Board’s Audit Committee. He previously held positions in blue-chip companies, such as Citibank, Johnson & Johnson and Procter & Gamble. Mr. Zavvos is also active in the civil society as the Chairman of the Board of SolidarityNow Foundation which supports immigrants and society groups that are the hardest hit by the economic crisis in Greece. He is also the Founder and President of the Harvard Business School Club of Greece, one of the leading fora in Southeastern Europe which addresses the economic, geopolitical and social issues; in addition, he is a Member of the European Council on Foreign Relations, as well as a Member of the International Crisis Group’s International Advisory Council. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a MSc in Civil Engineering from Polytechnic University of Athens.

Ed Rotter – Principal

Mr. Rotter is a Principal of Zeus US Realty Services and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zeus Capital Partners. He has over 30 years of investment experience, acquiring over $5 billion in real estate while serving as Managing Director and Partner for ING Clarion and prior firms including Jones Lang LaSalle and Baring Advisors. He is an active member of the Real Estate Board of NY and the Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers. Mr. Rotter graduated from Yale College with a BA in political Science and obtained his MBA from Harvard Business School.

Nikos Koutsogiannis –Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Nikos Koutsogiannis is a certified accountant – auditor and holds the IFRS Diploma by ACCA. He has extensive (14 years) audit experience in projects with Greece’s largest banks, including real estate and structured finance. Before joining Zeus, he was the CFO of Attica Bank SA from December 2017 to January 2023. Nikos holds a postgraduate degree in International Banking and Finance from the Athens University of Economics and Business.

Ewa Szafrańska – Chief Investment Officer

Mrs. Szafrańska has over 20 years of investment, development and asset management experience in the real estate markets of Central East Europe. She joined Zeus in 2020 and she responsible for the transaction origination and execution of Zeus’ investments in Europe, as well as responsible for the asset management activities of Zeus in Poland. Mrs. Szafrańska started her career at Carrefour Group as a Development Manager, working on the acquisition and management of the group’s retail properties in Poland. In 2001 she moved to TK Development A/S, as an Investment Manager, responsible for the investment and development activities in relation to the company’s commercial and office projects and thereafter continued her career at Apsys Polska as a Development Director. Subsequently, Mrs. Szafrańska worked for seven years at Azora International Management assuming the position of Executive Director for Central East Europe. At Azora, she was responsible for the investment activities of Azora Europa, an independent group of funds launched in 2007 with the strategy to invest in office, residential and student housing properties located in Central East European countries. Before joining Zeus, Mrs. Szafrańska, worked as a Managing Director of CEE at Balmain Asset Management and as the Director of Asset and Property Management at CREAM. She holds a Master of Science, Engineer and Architect in Architecture and Spatial Planning from Wratislavia Technical University.

 

Management Team

Gabor Erdelyi – Investment Manager

Gabor Erdelyi has over 13 years of real estate investment and asset management in the Hungarian real estate market. Prior to joining Zeus, Mr. Erdelyi worked as Associate at Cushman & Wakefield’s Capital Markets team in Budapest, advising international investors, such as Morgan Stanley, Blackstone and Atenor. He previously was the Head of the Real Estate Asset Management team in Hungary for Raiffeisen Real Estate Fund. He joined Reiffeisen in 2005 as an investment analyst. Mr. Erderlyi began his career in 2003 as a Junior Consultant at KPMG’s Business Advisory Services Team. He joined Zeus in May 2016 and he is involved with the company’s acquisition activities in CEE, as well as managing the investment portfolio in Hungary. He holds an MSc in Management Consulting from the University of Pécs, Faculty of Business and Economics.

Andrei Ghetu – Senior Asset Manager

Mr. Ghetu joined Zeus in 2020 as a Senior Asset Manager responsible for Zeus’ asset management activities in Romania and Bulgaria. He has 18 years of real estate asset management experience across all types of commercial properties, as well as residential properties. Prior to joining Zeus, he worked for Facilitec Romania, as the Head of Property and Facility Management for office properties in Romania. He joined Facilitec Romania after spending over six years working for Immofinanz, a European commercial real estate group, as a Senior Asset Manager overseeing the management of office and logistic real estate assets in Romania and Bulgaria. Mr. Ghetu joined Immofinanz from EHL Real Estate Romania in 2012, where he worked as an Asset Manager since 2009, dealing with management and leasing activities of Immofinanz investments in Romania. Prior to that Mr. Ghetu spent over 8 years working for Avrig 35, a Romanian-based real estate development company focusing on office, retail and residential properties in Romania. He holds a BA in Computer Science and an MA in Statistical Analysis and Economic Phenomena from Bucharest University of Economic Studies. He also holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Bucharest University of Economic Studies.

Monica Neamtu – Asset Manager

Ms. Neamtu joined the Zeus team in 2010 as an Asset Manager responsible for the all operational matters regarding Zeus’ investments in Romania. She has over 20 years of real estate experience. Before joining Zeus Ms. Neamtu was a General Manager for Brooklyn Investment for 5 years, the real estate development arm of Summa, a Turkish group of companies with presence in Central Europe, Turkey and the USA. Prior to that, she was Administrative Manager for the Bucharest Corporate Center, one of Bucharest’s first prime office buildings. From 2000 to 2005 Ms Neamtu was a Project Manager Assistant for Ekter Construct, a Greek development company, where she mostly dealt with project management and coordination activities in real estate development. She holds a BA with double major in Economics and in Engineering, and an MA in Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest.

Miroslav Galabov – Asset Manager 

Mr. Galabov joined Zeus in 2022 as a country manager of the Bulgarian assets. Prior to joining Zeus, Miroslav had more than 15 years of real estate experience in the Bulgarian market. He has been head of the property management departments in the local partners of Cushman & Wakefield and CBRE. He has worked as property and leasing manager of numerous prime office projects in Sofia as well as advisor and manager of some of the biggest shopping center developments in the country. Between 2013 and 2017 he was founder and manager of his own residential real estate agency focused on Sofia’s luxury properties. He holds a degree in BSc Economics, Finance, and Management from Queen Mary University of London.

Maya Zika – Asset Manager

Ms. Zika assumed in 2012 the role of Asset Manager responsible for Zeus’ investments in Bulgaria. Since 1998, she was the owner of a Bulgarian financial consulting company focusing on the area of property management. From 1994 to 1998 she was the CFO of two Bulgarian advertising agencies, namely Mondial Promotions SA and Informer SA. Prior to that, she served for 12 years as Senior Expert at the Department of the Secretariat of the Cabinet Minister at the Bulgarian Ministry of Regional Development and Construction. She holds a BA in Business and Entrepreneurship from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Katerina Tsoka – Finance Manager

Ms. Tsoka joined Zeus in 2007 assuming a Manager position responsible for financial operations and investor relations activities. She commenced her career in 1998 with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, and between 2002 and 2007 held managerial posts in business development for Continental American Capital, an investment group focusing on real estate investment and financing in the USA, and in product development for H&A, a London investment consulting firm with expertise in designing and developing financial products for European and US Multi-Family Offices. She obtained her MSc in European Policy and Management from the University of London, and holds a BA with a double major in Economics and in Theater Arts from Clark University, USA.

Panagiota Billa – Communications Manager

Mrs. Billa joined Zeus in 2017 and is responsible for the marketing and communication activities of Zeus. She has over 20 years of corporate events and communication management experience in fast-growing industries like telecommunications, enterprise mobility, and renewable-energy. Mrs. Billa was responsible for executing a portfolio of corporate events, both national and global, from the concept stage to the execution and the post-event evaluation. Prior to joining Zeus, Mrs. Billa worked for Globo, a pioneer in the Greek market regarding enterprise mobility management and application development, Espace Technologies, a privately held company specializing in the development of renewable energy projects, Millennium Telecom Stores and Unifon of Panafon Group. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Major in Marketing from the College of Southeastern Europe and a Bachelor in Faculty of Early Childhood Education from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

Constantine Zavvos – Investment Analyst

Mr. Zavvos joined Zeus in 2017 as an Investment Analyst. His primary responsibilities include the preparation and update of real estate market research and reports, financial modeling and analysis of prospective investments. Mr. Zavvos also assists in the investment acquisition process as part of the Investment team. Prior to joining Zeus, Mr. Zavvos worked as a Researcher at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Cincinnati, and has over 7 years of experience in the field of Environmental Quality and Compliance. He holds a BSc in Physics from the University of Athens (NKUA) and an MSc in Environmental Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.

Demetra Papakyriakou- Financial Controller

Ms. Papakyriakou joined the Zeus team in 2022 as a Financial Controller. Her primary responsibilities are financial reporting and tax compliance. She has 7 years of audit experience having worked for KPMG LLP London and KPMG Ltd Nicosia. During her time at KPMG she was involved in the audits of companies in various industries such as hotel & leisure, manufacturing, banking, real estate construction and retail. She holds a Summa Cum Laude BSc (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Nicosia. Ms. Papakyriakou is a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA).

Advisors

Efthimios Vidalis – Co-Founder & Advisor

Elected President of the Executive Committee of SEV-Hellenic Federation of Enterprises, during the Annual General Assembly, held in June 15th 2020.

Mr. Vidalis was the CEO of S&B Industrial Minerals S.A from 2001 until 2011 and COO from 1998 to 2001 and was on the Board of Directors of the company for 15 years. He held several leadership positions for almost 20 years at Owens Corning, including Vice President of the European Reinforcement business in Brussels (1986-1993) and President of the Global Composites business in the US (1994).

In 1996, he became President of the Insulation business of OC. He is a Member of the Boards of Alpha Bank, TITAN S.A. and Fairfield-Maxwell Ltd. (U.S.A.), where he serves as Chairman of the Strategy & Investment Committee. He was an advisor to the Management and board member of RAYCAP S.A. from 2001 to 2016, Chairman of the Board of the engineering company ENOIA BV from 2011 to June 2013 and member of the board of FUTURE PIPE Industries based in Dubai from 2008 to 2019. Mr. Vidalis served on the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises from 2006 to 2016 (Vice Chairman & Secretary General) and was the founder and Chairman of the Business Council for Sustainable Development of the Federation from 2008 to 2016. He graduated from Harvard University with a BA in Government and earned an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.

Thomas Doxiadis – Environmental Design Advisor

Mr. Doxiadis is an Architect and Landscape Architect and the principal of doxiadis+, a design office specializing in ecological design and the integration of architecture and landscape architecture. doxiadis+ is recognized both nationally and internationally as a pioneer in innovative, meaningful design that is respectful of the environment and the particular location. They have received awards such as the prestigious Architectural Review Emerging Architecture Award (2010), having both extensive international collaborations and overseas projects.

Mr. Doxiadis was Look of the City Section Manager for the 2004 Olympics, as well as the consultant to the government planning board for the Athens Green Spaces Master plan. He worked in the New York office of Costas Kondylis & Partners LLP, has assisted in the design of the rehabilitation of the Ermoupolis waterfront on the historic island of Syros, the Unification of the Archeological Sites of Athens plan for the Ancient Agora, the design for the new Chancellery of the Federal Republic of Germany as well as the design supervision for the new Athens Metro stations. doxiadis+ have completed more than 100 environmentally sensitive and often inventive projects for important clients such as the Greek State, S&B Industrial Minerals, Astir Palace Voulagmenis, and Amanresorts. Mr. Doxiadis is a former Lecturer at the Architecture Department of the University of Patras, and the Architecture Department of the University of Thessaly. Mr. Doxiadis received his B.A, Master of Architecture and Master of Landscape Architecture from Harvard University, where he received a number of awards including the Hoopes Prize and the Penny White Award. Mr Doxiadis has been an Investment Advisor to Zeus since its inception in 2007.

Apostolos Doxiadis – Hotel Industry Advisor

Mr. Doxiadis was the President of the Scientific Committee (European FORUM) for Tourism Education and Training (Ministry of Tourism Development) and a member of the National Tourism Advisory Board from 2005 to 2015. He is the Vice-President of the Board of Directors of Lampsa S.A, quoted in the Athens Stock Exchange, (Owner of the Hotel Grande-Bretagne and Hyatt Belgrade), a post he holds since 1973. He was the Vice President and the President of the Greek Tourism Organization from 1990-1993, the President of the Greek Chamber of Hotels from 1974-1991, and the Managing Director of Hotel Grande Bretagne from 1970-1993. He completed special courses in Hotel Management at Cornell University (1963), and graduated from Heidelberg University (Germany) in 1966, with a diploma in Economics. Speaks fluently English, German and French.
